Banyan Tree Group debuts its first ever ski resort in Niseko: Cassia Hirafu Niseko

HOKKAIDO, JAPAN— Banyan Tree Group, in collaboration with Terraform Capital, has announced the opening of Cassia Hirafu Niseko: the brand’s first-ever ski resort.

Highly regarded by serious skiers and snow lovers for receiving the world’s best powder snow throughout winter, and as a leisure and wellness destination during the summer months, Niseko has been chosen to be the new home of Cassia Hirafu Niseko: a place where everyone is welcome.


Set to open in 2025 just minutes away from Hirafu ski slope, Cassia Hirafu Niseko is designed by internationally renowned Snøhetta and will feature more than 120 keys for the resort, ranging from 1-bedroom apartments to 4-bedroom penthouses that will be available for sale.


The new Cassia Hirafu Niseko will also offer an all-inclusive escape for family and group travel of all ages. These will include the Elements Spa by Banyan Tree, plus a delicious, wide range of culinary experiences to suit every taste. In addition, there is also its own unique, private beginner slope, ski school and childcare facilities for a truly unforgettable ski holiday experience.
